Sep 30, 2016: Pakistan announces Saarc Summit cancellation. Pakistan on Friday formally introduced that the 19th Saarc Summit which was to be held in Islamabad in November this 12 months has been cancelled.

“Pakistan attaches nice significance to regional cooperation below the umbrella of Saarc and stays dedicated to hosting the 19th SAARC Summit at Islamabad on the earliest,” it added as Pakistan announces Saarc Summit cancellation.
