New Delhi, Sep 28, 2016: CBI launches inquiry towards officers probing Bansal case. The CBI on Wednesday mentioned it had launched an inquiry in opposition to its officers probing a corruption case in opposition to suspended Corporate Affairs Ministry officer B.K. Bansal who, alongside along with his 31-year-old son, was discovered hanging in his house on Tuesday.

Bansal was arrested on July 16 on expenses of receiving a bribe of Rs 9 lakh for extending favours to a company agency. He was coping with issues associated to alleged violations by a Mumbai-based pharmaceutical firm.


A Delhi court had granted bail to Bansal on August 30.
