Srinagar, Oct 6, 2016: 3 militants killed in Langate attack in J&K. Three separatist militants have been killed on Thursday in a gunfight that erupted after they attacked a counter-insurgency Rashtriya Rifles (RR) camp in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

“Heavily armed terrorists wearing military fatigues attacked the 30 RR camp located in Langate city of Kupwara district at 5.10 a.m. today (Thursday) as 3 militants killed in Langate attack in J&K.


“The alert guards on the 30 RR camp in Langate situated near a civilian facility foiled the terrorists’ try and enter the camp by breaching its safety periphery,” he mentioned.


“The terrorist firing stopped for a while, however it began once more at 6.30 a.m,” he added when 3 militants killed in Langate attack in J&K.


“We’ve got recovered three AK-47 rifles from the slain terrorists. Firing has stopped, however the search operation continues to be occurring,” the military spokesman mentioned.


“No casualty or damage was suffered by the RR troops” as 3 militants killed in Langate attack in J&K.


On October three a BSF trooper was killed and one other injured when separatist militants attacked the camp of 47 RR in Janbazpora space of Baramulla city.
