Sonowal amongst 9 crorepatis in Assam Cabinet: Survey

New Delhi, May 25: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and eight out of 11 members of his cabinet are crorepatis (multi-millionaires) whereas one among them has legal circumstances in opposition to him, the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) mentioned on Wednesday.


SonowalNaba Kumar Doley of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Dhakuakhana constituency has declared in his affidavit felony instances in opposition to himself, together with one associated to giving false proof, one on fabricating false proof and one other on false proof.


Doley can also be the richest amongst all of the ministers with declared whole belongings of Rs.7.30 crore.

In the meantime, Pallab Lochan Das of the BJP has belongings price greater than Rs.54 lakh.


“The minister with the bottom declared whole property is Parimal Suklabadya (BJP) from Dholai constituency with property price Rs.37.92 lakh solely,” stated the report.


By way of academic qualifications, the report mentioned 9 ministers are graduates or have greater levels, whereas two are Class 12 move.
