New Delhi, April 24 : Businessman Vijay Mallya‘s passport has been revoked once he didn’t manifest itself for a research into a Rs.9,000 cr. default of loans from Indian banks, the govt. aforesaid on Sunday, setting in motion the billionaire’s potential deportation from Great Britain.

“Having thought-about the replies volumed by Vijay Mallya to the show cause notice, facts brought by Enforecement Directors and Non-Bailable Warrant beneath the (Prevention “money laundering” Act) PMLA Act, 2002 issued by Special Justice, Mumbai, the MEA revoked the passport of Vijay Mallya beneath Section 10 (3)(c) and 10 (3)(h) of the Passports Act, 1967,” the ministry Voiceperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.


The ministry had earlier informed that the central government was committed to depot Mallya back in Indian Rebublic to face justice.


According to knowledgeable sources, the revocation of the passport and therefore the warrant have set the base for his surrender from Great Britain.
