Forest fires engulf giant space close to Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine

Jammu, May 17: Forest fires engulfed giant areas within the Trikuta Hills of Jammu and Kashmir‘s Reasi district, close to the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, whilst authorities used all potential means to douse the flames, officers mentioned on Tuesday.

Massive areas of the forest in Trikuta Hills have been burning in wild fires raging there for the final two days whilst groups of the forest and fireplace companies departments, Central Reserve Police Pressure (CRPF) troopers, officers of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and police are engaged in combating them, officers instructed.
